Call centres stop ringing.
Pejava Antispam blocks whole number blocks that call centres rent, plus your own numbers and masks like +41 2N [2-5,8]. iOS rejects the call before the phone rings.
How it works
No server sees your calls: the lists live on your iPhone and iOS checks every incoming number against them.
- 1
We build the lists
From the official BAKOM register of Swiss number blocks we pick the blocks of wholesale number resellers and the blocks with many reported numbers. One block is 10,000 numbers.
- 2
The app downloads them
The app fetches the lists you switch on from this site and updates them in the background when we publish a new version.
- 3
iOS blocks the call
The numbers are loaded into iOS call blocking. A call from a blocked number never rings; any other call rings with no delay.
What the app does
Masks, not just numbers
N is any digit, [2-5,8] is one of the listed digits. +41 2N [2-5,8] covers +41 28 205 77 77 and every number like it.
Ready-made lists
Switch on the lists from this site, or keep only your own entries. Each list can be turned off at any time.
Check a number
Type a number to see whether it is blocked and by which entry — in the app or on the Lists page.
Private by design
The app has no account and sends nothing about your calls. It only downloads the public lists.
Blocking lists
The lists the app can subscribe to. Each line is one number block of 10,000 numbers and the company the block is assigned to in the BAKOM register.
Number resellers
Foreign wholesalers that sell Swiss numbers online to anyone, one block per area code — the “local presence” numbers call centres use.
OptionalCloud telephony platforms
Cloud and messaging platforms with Swiss number blocks. Many ordinary businesses use them too, so this list can block wanted calls.
Questions
Why block whole number blocks?
Call centres rotate through many numbers from the same rented block, so blocking single numbers does not help for long. Blocking the block stops all of them, and large operators’ blocks with ordinary subscribers are never included.
Can I miss a call I want?
It is possible if a company you know uses a number from a listed block. Check the number on this page or in the app, and switch off the list that blocks it. The “Cloud telephony platforms” list carries the highest risk and is off by default.
Does it slow down incoming calls?
No. iOS looks the number up in its own database on the phone; the app does not run during a call and nothing goes over the network.
What do I need to switch on?
After installing, open Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Blocking & Identification and turn on Pejava Antispam.
Does it stop spoofed numbers?
Not reliably: a spoofed number can be any number. Since 2026 Swiss operators block or mark calls from abroad that show a Swiss number; the lists target the call centres that use real numbers.
